Location: Cardiff, Wales
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Are you a nurturing, enthusiastic, and dedicated teacher with a passion for early years education? We're seeking a Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cardiff. Your Role Will Include:

Delivering a fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum to Reception pupils.

Creating a safe, warm, and inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic and emotional growth.

Using play, phonics, and structured routines to support early development.

Collaborating with TAs, SLT, and families to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community.
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (child workforce) or willingness to apply.

A genuine passion for EYFS and child development.
-
Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, caring approach.

Creativity, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-paced classroom setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
