The Head Teacher of a large primary school in Blackburn is looking to employ a fully trained and experienced Reading Recovery Teacher for the new academic year:

Start date: Tuesday 2^nd September 2020

End of contract: Friday 23^rd July 2021

Working hours: 08:00 – 12:00 (potential to be extended)

 The school is graded ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted. Pupils achieve well and make good progress from their varying starting points. Pupils behave well, they enjoy coming to school and are keen to learn. School leaders have worked well together to improve the quality of teaching and raise pupils’ achievement.

A high proportion of pupils within school are known to be eligible for the pupil premium. The proportion of pupils who attend the school with SEN and/or a disability is also well above the national average.
