The Deputy Head of a secondary school is looking to appoint a Teacher of RE, to join his school in October 2019.

The school is located in Preston, and is smaller than average and there are slightly more girls than boys and the majority of students are of White British heritage. This is a very popular school and demand for places is high. Parents are overwhelmingly positive about the school. One parent summed up the ethos of the school saying, 'my child has become a happy, confident teenager, making excellent progress'

You will be teaching RE four days a week, however there will also be three hours of KS3 English and one hour of KS3 Geography a week, in your timetable. This position will be starting in October 2019, on a rolling temporary contract - depending on performance, you will then be placed on a permanent school contract.
