Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Secondary School based in Crewe (CW3) who are seeking an RE Teacher for September 2025. This is a great opportunity for an ECT who is looking to start their teaching career, or an established Teacher who is looking for a new and exciting change.

About the role:

  • Start-date: 1st September
  • Ongoing/long-term full-time opportunity

As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school’s values. You will create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, tolerance, and understanding of diverse religious and non-religious worldviews. The role involves assessing and monitoring student progress, adapting teaching methods to suit varying needs, and encouraging active participation through discussion, debate, and reflective learning. Additionally, you will also contribute to the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of students and participate in the wider life of the school, including assemblies, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities related to RE.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of RE curriculum for KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both students and colleagues
  • A genuine passion for RE and the development of students academically, socially and emotionally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
