Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a confident and passionate Religious Education Teacher to join a dedicated team at a secondary school based in Crewe (CW3). This is a full-time position starting in September, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4.

About the role:

  • Start- date: 1st September
  • Ongoing/long-term
  • Opportunity to earn £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on PayScale)

As an RE Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons up to GCSE level. You will inspire students to develop their understanding of religious beliefs, practices and their impacts on society. You will also assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback when necessary. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues to develop the curriculum and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and respect.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS with a background in Religious Education
  • Proven experience teaching RE at GCSE level with confidence
  • Excellent classroom management skills and ability to motivate students
  • Commitment to promoting the values of respect, tolerance and critical thinking
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
