Science Teacher – Secondary School
Location: Harrow

Salary: £150–£200 per day (based on experience, inclusive of holiday pay)

This role involves teaching general science to KS3 and your specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at KS4.

The Role
- Teach engaging and practical Science lessons to KS3–KS4 students, tailoring content to meet varied learning needs
- Promote scientific inquiry, problem solving, and curiosity across the classroom
- Track progress and use assessment data to drive student achievement
- Collaborate with a forward thinking Science department committed to active learning and academic excellence
- Support pupils with varied learning needs including those with SEND or EAL
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
- Strong knowledge of the secondary Science curriculum (GCSE & KS3)
- Experience using practical experiments to support learning safely and effectively
- Enthusiastic, organised, and committed to student progress and engagement
- Ability to differentiate and manage behaviour in a diverse classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
