Inspire Through Sound and Creativity
A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Harrow is seeking a passionate Music Teacher. This role is ideal for a QTS-qualified teacher with a love of performance, composition, and music theory. Join a department that values creativity, collaboration, and cultural expression.

The Role
You’ll deliver Music across KS3 and KS4, guiding students in practical and theoretical work. The school offers excellent resources including a music suite, instruments, and recording equipment to support a broad curriculum.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons

  • Teach performance, composition, and listening skills

  • Prepare students for GCSE Music assessments

  • Lead ensembles, choirs, or music clubs

  • Promote musical appreciation across the school

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS and a degree in Music or Music Education

  • Ability to teach varied musical styles and skills

  • Confident classroom management

  • Knowledge of music theory and notation

Desirable:

  • Piano or multi-instrumental ability

  • Familiarity with AQA or Edexcel Music GCSE

  • Experience directing performances or school concerts

  • Skills in music production or digital software
