Job description

Are you a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher looking for your next career move? Look no further! Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School in Leigh who are seeking talented individuals like you to join their esteemed teams and make a lasting impact on students Mathematics skills. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Support with delivering lessons and managing student behaviour. 

  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources. 

  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts. 

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. 

  • Help students with special educational needs or those requiringadditional support. 

  • Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor student progress and address concerns.  

  

Requirements: 

  • A degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. 

  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and teaching methodologies. 

  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Passion for fostering a love of literature and language among students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
