Job description

Are you passionate about history and eager to bring the subject to life for the next generation? We are seeking an exceptional History Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in North West London this September.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4 History

  • Teach a broad curriculum covering British, European, and World History topics

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring strong progress and outcomes

  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning

  • Contribute to a supportive humanities faculty with a shared commitment to excellence

  • Take an active role in pastoral care and the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Committed to safeguarding, inclusivity, and high standards of professionalism
