This full-time role involves teaching Art & Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering an inclusive and inspiring curriculum that encourages creativity, imagination, and skill development.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Encourage exploration of various media and artistic techniques

  • Guide students in building portfolios and preparing for GCSE assessments

  • Work collaboratively with a committed Art department

  • Adapt teaching for students with diverse learning needs, including those with SEND and EAL

  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment


About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Art & Design

  • Strong knowledge of the national Art curriculum and assessment standards

  • Experience in delivering practical and creative art sessions

  • Enthusiastic, imaginative, and committed to student progress

  • Confident in managing classroom behaviour and differentiation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
