A truly progressive SEN school in RCT are looking for an experienced, dedicated and personable SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will play an essential role within classrooms between KS1-KS4, depending on your preference and previous experience.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, prior SEN Teaching Assistant experience is absolutely essential, and you will definitely need to hit the ground running in this rewarding and fast-paced role. The Head Teacher is a big believer in providing additional training and development. As such, the SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is perfectly suited to a Graduate with a Psychology background.

Further details of the SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity in RCT are….

  • SEN Teaching Assistant - KS1 or KS2 (depending on your previous experience)
  • Primary students with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Global Delay, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome and some SEMH
  • Working 1:1 with the designated pupil in classrooms with typically 7-8 students
  • Full-time for the entire 2019/2020 academic year…at least! (September-July, minimum)
  • £57-£65 per day for the first 12 weeks, with scope to increase thereafter
  • Hugely supportive and friendly team of staff at every level
  • Located in RCT, with very convenient public transport links
