Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Oldham Secondary School
⏰ Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
About the School: Our partner secondary school is a newly-established secondary school in Oldham, committed to providing an exceptional learning experience for our students. They take pride in fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere where both students and staff can thrive.
Role and Responsibilities: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to students.
- Utilising your psychology background to understand and address individual learning needs.
- Collaborating with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitoring and reporting on student progress.
- Contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the school community.
Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
