**Job Title: Graduate Psychologist (Primary Education)**

**Location:** [Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire]


**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Graduate Psychologist to join our dedicated team. This entry-level position is perfect for recent psychology graduates who are eager to work in an educational setting and support the mental health and well-being of primary school children. Under the guidance of experienced educators and psychologists, you will play a vital role in helping students thrive.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify and support students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Assist in the design and implementation of programs promoting social-emotional learning and mental health awareness.
- Conduct observational assessments and provide insights to enhance individual student support plans.
- Facilitate small group sessions focusing on skill development, coping strategies, and resilience building.
- Provide support and resources for parents and teachers on child development and behavioral management.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to create a positive school culture and promote well-being.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree or coursework in educational psychology preferred).
- A strong understanding of child development and psychological principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to engage students in a positive manner.
- Familiarity with relevant psychological assessment tools is a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
