Teaching Personnel are currently looking to appoint passionate and enthusiastic psychology graduates to work with children across multiple schools in the Oldham/Tameside  area. The position will be working predominately with children 11-16 year old pupils who have variety of Special Education Needs including; moderate, severe and profound, and multiple learning difficulties. Ideally you will have a flexible nature and be prepared to cover across all years where needed.

The successful Teaching Assistant for this post will be a Psychology Graduate, and as a result will have a good theoretical understanding of special educational needs. You must also be a confident, and a resilient, Teaching Assistant who holds a genuine desire to help young people with SEN achieve. Having experience in supporting children who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role.

This is a fantastic Secondary school which offers a great opportunity for Psychology Graduates to begin a career after University.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
