Job Title: Year 3 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: BH10
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to join one of our wonderful schools in the BH10 area. This full-time maternity cover position will begin in September, teaching a vibrant and enthusiastic Year 3 class.

About the Role:
You will take on full classroom responsibilities, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. You will be joining a supportive and welcoming team, committed to providing high-quality education in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to pupil success
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
