Experienced Tutors Wanted – Make a Real Difference in Young Lives
Location: Hillingdon & Surrounding Areas | Flexible Hours | Competitive Rates

Are you a dedicated teacher or experienced tutor looking to make a meaningful impact? Do you have a passion for helping young people who have faced challenges in life and education? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are a well-established education agency currently seeking committed, compassionate, and skilled tutors to join our growing network. Our referrals are primarily for vulnerable young learners—many of whom have been in and out of care, experienced significant disruptions in their education, and face barriers to learning.

What We’re Looking For:

We are keen to register tutors who:

  • Have several years’ experience working in the education sector (as a teacher, tutor, or specialist educator)

  • Have worked with vulnerable children and young people, including those in care or with SEND

  • Are confident working 1:1 with learners with gaps in education, often working below age-related expectations

  • Can deliver engaging, personalised sessions in core subjects (particularly English and Maths)

  • Are reliable, empathetic, and able to build trust and rapport with young people

Locations:

Tuition takes place in a variety of settings in and around Hillingdon, including:

  • The child’s home

  • Their care placement

  • Or online (where appropriate)

Most current referrals are for:

  • Primary-aged pupils, or

  • Secondary-aged students working at a primary level

Availability:

We ask that tutors are available for a minimum of 10–15 hours per week, with the opportunity to take on additional hours if desired. Sessions typically take place during the school day depending on each young person’s schedule.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)

  • Right to work in the UK

  • QTS, teaching qualification, or equivalent tutoring experience preferred

  • Experience with Looked After Children (LAC), EHCPs, or alternative provision is highly advantageous

If you're looking to take on rewarding work where you can truly change a child’s life, we would love to welcome you to our team.
