Job description

Primary Tutor

Salary:

£25 - £35 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide one-on-one academic support to primary school students
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on student's learning needs
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding student's performance
  • Maintain accurate records of student's progress and achievements

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with primary school students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young learners

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching or tutoring primary school students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of the primary school curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work primarily in a school or educational setting
  • Opportunity for remote tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
