Primary Intervention Tutor

A TP Tutors partner school in Mansfield are looking to provide tutoring across core subjects from January. If you are a qualified teacher with experience in school this opportunity could be perfect for you.

Group sizes: 1-6           Tuition Blocks:15 weeks’                Pay £25-£35 an hour based on group size

As an intervention tutor you will be a part of the National Tuition Programme which has provided targeted intervention to thousands of children across the country. TP Tutors are an accredited partner of the NTP programme.

The school: A Catholic school with a welcoming community of staff and students. Class staff will liaise with you on targets for different students across numeracy and literacy.

As a tutor your responsibilities are to

1)      Plan effective sessions that target individual students’ weaknesses in specific subjects.

2)      Lead efficient tutoring lessons that get the most out of limited time with students.

3)      Report the progress of our sessions on our online platform LEAP

This is a busy part time role that allows you to manage your own timetable and take on additional work to this part time role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
