We are excited to announce that Teaching Personnel are an approved tuition provider through the National Tutoring Programme. This means we are looking to take on experienced Tutors to provide 1:1 and small group tuition, specifically targeting English, Maths and Science for pupils who have lost our on learning due to the national lock down period.
My Client, a Primary School in the Ely area is looking for a Primary Teacher, who can tutor either KS1 or KS2 (you will be selected for 1 KS in order to stay within the appropriate bubble). Tuition will take place in 15-hour blocks, and could be face to face or online, 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 depending on circumstances and guidelines at the time of tuition taking place. You will be required to plan and deliver appropriate programmes based on the pupils needs, and ensure that it is in line with their current learning objectives whilst maintaining contact with the class teacher.
In order to apply you will need to be a;
- Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent; ideally English, Maths or Science specialism
- Graduate with a degree in English, Maths or Science
- Teaching and Learning Support Worker with relevant qualifications or at least 6 months experience
- You must have recent knowledge and a clear understanding of the UK Curriculum and the ability to plan and communicate it effectively in 1:1 or small group settings
To work as a tutor through the NTP you must be willing to complete FREE training through Teaching Personnel, such as:
- CPD accredited tutor training (minimum of 20 hours)
- Training on our toolkit
- Level 2 Safeguarding training
- Induction with Teaching Personnel
