This particular Setting is based in Salford and caters for pupils with: challenging behaviour, pupils with moderate and very profound learning difficulties and pupils with high and low functioning ASC.
As a Behaviour Mentor your role will involve: delivering specialist interventions to support pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour, working in accordance with Schools behaviour policies and supporting Teachers throughout the Setting as and where directed.
In order to apply for the role as a Behaviour Mentor you should have:
- Experience working within a School or Youth Work Setting
- An understanding of de-escalation tactics and preferably training
- A qualification related to Youth Work or Behaviour (desirable)
