We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive and nurturing educational setting in Wareham. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering primary-focused opportunities while supporting pupils aged 4 to 16 within a setting that places wellbeing, engagement and individual progress at the centre of learning.
Working hours are 8.45am to 3.30pm.

Your Role

Support pupils with learning and daily routines
-
Provide one-to-one and small group assistance in the classroom
-
Encourage confidence, engagement and independence

Help maintain a calm, safe and positive learning environment

Work closely with teachers and support staff
What We’re Looking For

Minimum 6 months of childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN needs
-
Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach

Commitment to full-time work

Understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
