At Teaching Personnel, we’re on the lookout for motivated and caring individuals ready to step into rewarding Teaching Assistant roles in Salisbury primary schools. Whether you’re looking to kickstart your education career or take a step back from teaching responsibilities.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting children aged 4–11 in their daily learning journeys.
  • Supporting and working with the classroom teacher in delivering a fun, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to give pupils the encouragement and attention they need to thrive, including those with additional needs.
  • Helping pupils build confidence, curiosity, and creativity every day.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children (volunteering counts too!)
  • A friendly, positive attitude and a real passion for helping young learners.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a team-player mindset.
  • An Enhanced Child DBS (on the Update Service) – or willingness to get apply for one through us.
  • Two solid references from the last 24 months of employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
