Teaching Assistant
Permanent Position
Location: Oxford
Salary: Dependent on experience
Start Date: April 2025
A vibrant and welcoming Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Oxford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join its permanent staff team from April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school community that values the development of both its pupils and staff.
The Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of pupils across the school. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Supporting individual pupils and small groups with their learning.
- Helping to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Encouraging pupils' social and emotional development.
- Providing additional support for pupils with SEND where required.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
- A passion for supporting young learners in their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
