Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school located in Congleton seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to start after Easter. The school is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about the social and academic development of young students.
About the role:
- Full-time position starting after Easter
- Opportunity to earn £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience)
- School is in a great location with excellent transport links between Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work 1-1 or in small groups with students who require additional social and academic support. You will work closely with the class teacher to ensure lessons run smoothly and the school’s behaviour policies are followed. Additionally, you will create individualised learning plans for students, ensuring the curriculum is accessible for all needs.
What we’re looking for:
- A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience within a primary school is necessary for this role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to create a positive learning environment for all
- Safeguarding training (this can be done through Teaching Personnel)
To be considered for this role, applicants must also have an enhanced child DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
