Primary Teachers & Teaching Assistants – Day-to-Day Supply

Dorchester & Surrounding Areas
£120 – £140 per day (Teachers) | £80 – £95 per day (TAs)

Looking for flexible work in Dorchester?
Teaching Personnel are recruiting qualified Primary Teachers and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our local supply team, providing day-to-day cover across a variety of welcoming primary schools. Whether you’re a teacher or a TA, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, build relationships, and choose the days that work best for you.

Your Responsibilities:
Teachers

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment
  • Adapt to different year groups and school routines
  • Manage behaviour effectively and ensure the safeguarding of all pupils

Teaching Assistants

  • Support the class teacher with daily learning activities
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to help pupils meet their learning goals
  • Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour management

Requirements:

  • Teachers: QTS or ECT welcome
  • TAs: Relevant experience or qualifications desirable
  • A positive, adaptable attitude and commitment to pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
