Primary Teacher - Peterborough

A fantastic school in Peterborough are now looking for an experienced and unique Primary Teacher to take on an exciting role in September. The position is full time, teaching a Key Stage 2 class and is set to run for 2 terms with the opportunity of being extended further. The school is 3 form entry and has an established SLT with strong ambitions and a clear vision for the future of the school and its pupils.

The school are encouraging NQT's as well as overseas trained equivalent teachers to apply - provided that your knowledge of the UK national curriculum is substantial enough to plan and teach a full capacity class on a full time basis.

Ideal applicants will also be required to:

• Plan and teach KS2 classes
• Support children with challenging behaviour
• Have their own transport
• Possess Extensive knowledge of the curriculum
• Be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn
• Engage and motivate pupils by making classes interactive and stimulating

Some pupils in the class will be working on a 1:1 basis and within small groups with support from a qualified TA. The class itself is at full capacity and as a result of this; all applicants will need to have a high level of classroom management skills in order to ensure all pupils remain on task.

Successful applicants will be expected to interview and potentially teach a 30-45 minute class at the earliest opportunity; therefore we need someone who is committed to making a difference and is eager to get 'stuck in'.
