We have a fantastic opportunity for a KS1 teacher in Cambridge, this role will grant the right candidate a chance to be a part of a fantastic Primary school, accompanied by a great team of supporting staff and pupils keen to learn. The school itself is moder and single form entry, each class will have its own experienced Teaching Assistant who will assist the Teacher with the day to day running of the class.

This role would be ideally suited to a FQT teacher with experience in KS1, or a NQT looking to expand their skillset and knowledge in the KS2 area. The role would involve full planning production and assessment of lessons, assuring the behaviour of the students is kept to the standard of the school, setting up the classroom on a daily basis, provide exciting yet challenging homework for the pupils. 

You would be taking charge of a year 1 class consisting of 26 children, you would be required to run engaging and though provoking lessons in accordance to the UK curriculum, you must have excellent classroom and behavioural management skills and a good attitude to all aspects of work.

The Ideal candidate:

• A FQT with experience in  KS1
• Safeguarding training
• Experience planning and implementing lessons
• Experience with SEN pupils
• A good attitude to all aspects of work
• Uk address and right to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
