Year 1 Teacher for September 2023, Wimbledon

Are you looking for the opportunity to work full- time at a ‘good’ Ofsted school in London?

A school in Wimbledon are currently looking for an ECT Y1 teacher to make a September start. The right candidate will provide education to the schools ‘caring, polite and courteous’ pupils, as noted by the Ofsted report. The school is a 10 minute walk from Wimbledon station and the northern line and district line, providing great transport links.

The leadership and management of the school pursue excellence from their students and have high ambition and aspirations. They provide fantastic support to their teachers and as a result the school has greatly improved since the last inspection.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an early career teacher with ambition and the thirst to make a difference.
  • Have knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Ready to make a solid September start and provide an excellent level of teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
