Primary Teacher

Are you a primary ECT looking to complete your folder or an experienced Teacher seeking a new role?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of Primary Schools located across Wigan who are recruiting full-time Teachers for September start-dates. The schools are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals who want to make a positive impact on the early development of young students.

About the roles:

• Start-dates in September
• Ongoing/long-term
• Opportunity to earn £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on experience/PayScale)
• Roles across KS1 and KS2

As the class teacher, you will prepare and deliver engaging lessons following the national curriculum as well as incorporating the schools core values. You will work closely with support staff to monitor progress and create/implement individualised learning plans ensuring the curriculum is accessible to all learning needs. Additionally, you will mark and assess students work, providing live feedback as well as progress updates to parents/carers and members of SLT.

What we’re looking for:

• QTS or equivalent
• Experience within a primary school is essential for this role
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching/behavioural management techniques
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with students and members of staff
• Excellent organisational and time management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
