Location: Totton
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: M1–M6 (paid to scale, dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a dedicated and professional Primary Teacher to support schools in Totton and the surrounding areas from September 2026. This long-term opportunity is well suited to an educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About the Role
• Full-time, long-term teaching position commencing in September 2026 with opportunities to progress onto permanent positions.
• Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation and assessment
• Opportunity to make a sustained and meaningful impact on pupils’ academic progress and personal development
• Working within supportive school environments that value consistency and strong professional relationships
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
• A professional, reliable and committed approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
