Primary Teacher – S10 Area, Sheffield

Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to work in a welcoming and supportive primary school located in the S10 area of Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a school community committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil wellbeing.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum. You will be expected to create a positive classroom environment that supports learning, encourages curiosity, and promotes the development of every child.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting (placements considered for ECTs)

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
