Primary Teacher (S1 – South Sheffield)

Location: S1 and surrounding South Sheffield areas
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £120 - £160


About the Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to work within our partner primary schools across S1 and the South Sheffield area. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to providing high-quality teaching and fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

You will deliver creative and engaging lessons, helping children achieve their full potential across all areas of the primary curriculum. Both experienced teachers and strong ECTs are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess, record, and report on pupil progress effectively
  • Collaborate with support staff, colleagues, and parents to enhance learning outcomes
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and ethos

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
