Year 2 Class Teacher – Full Time
Location: Poole
Start Date: September 2025

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated Year 2 Teacher to join one of our well-regarded infant schools located in the BH15 area. This is a full-time position commencing in September 2025.

The school prides itself on fostering a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive both academically and personally. The successful candidate will join a highly supportive team committed to providing high-quality education and promoting the well-being of all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum

  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress

  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • Be enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development

  • Show the ability to inspire and motivate young learners

This position is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to begin their teaching career in a supportive setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
