Primary Teacher – Pontypridd

Location: Pontypridd, CF38
Contract: Full Time, Until the end of the academic year
Pay Rate: £172.98 per day
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding role supporting children with a range of special educational needs?

We are seeking a flexible, dedicated SEN teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Pontypridd. This is a floating position, working across different year groups to provide tailored support and high-quality teaching for pupils with diverse additional learning needs.

About the School

This welcoming and inclusive SEN Primary School is located on the outskirts of Pontypridd. The school provides education for pupils aged 3-19 with multiple learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder and severe learning difficulties.

About the Role:

  • Work across multiple classes, adapting to the needs of pupils from different year groups.
  • Support children with a variety of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
  • Collaborate with class teachers, teaching assistants, and the SENCO to deliver individualised learning experiences.
  • Create inclusive, engaging lessons that promote progress and confidence.

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
  • Patient, Caring and Reliable
  • Able to adapt to different needs and learning styles
  • Passionate about inclusion and education
  • Have experience in education

Requirements:

Teaching Personnel provides guidance and support for obtaining the following: 

  • Education Workforce (EWC) Registration
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • References covering two years of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
