Job description

Are you a passionate and dedicated primary teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? We are currently seeking a full-time primary teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Mitcham that supports pupils with a range of additional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a committed and nurturing team focused on providing tailored education and support to children who thrive in a structured and inclusive environment.

The Role:

  • Full-time primary teaching role (Monday to Friday)

  • Working with small class sizes in a supportive and well-resourced setting

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils

  • Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to ensure positive outcomes for all learners

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Have experience working in a primary setting (SEN experience is a bonus but not essential)

  • Be flexible, resilient, and enthusiastic about supporting children with diverse needs

  • Possess excellent behaviour management and communication skills
