Day Rate: £140 - £160 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Job Description:
Are you a passionate and motivated teacher looking to make a real difference in a close-knit, values-led primary school? A Church of England primary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an inspiring Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the curriculum, tailored to individual needs.
- Set high expectations for behaviour and achievement, acting as a positive role model.
- Use assessment effectively to inform next steps and provide meaningful feedback.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support each pupil’s progress and wellbeing.
- Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters independence and curiosity.
- Lead a curriculum subject, contributing to the wider development of the school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or passion for primary education.
- High expectations of all learners, with a commitment to inclusion and pastoral care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- A reflective and proactive attitude toward professional growth and development.
- A values-driven approach aligned with the school’s ethos of Love, Respect, Hope, Courage, Kindness and Trust.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and child welfare responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
