Job Description:

Are you a passionate and motivated teacher looking to make a real difference in a close-knit, values-led primary school? A Church of England primary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an inspiring Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

Rooted in Christian values and recognised by Ofsted as a “friendly, welcoming school,” this is a truly unique teaching environment. The school’s ethos centres on every child having a light to shine—whether in academics, sports, or the arts - and strives to nurture this in a caring, inclusive, and community-connected setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the curriculum, tailored to individual needs.
  • Set high expectations for behaviour and achievement, acting as a positive role model.
  • Use assessment effectively to inform next steps and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support each pupil’s progress and wellbeing.
  • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters independence and curiosity.
  • Lead a curriculum subject, contributing to the wider development of the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or passion for primary education.
  • High expectations of all learners, with a commitment to inclusion and pastoral care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • A reflective and proactive attitude toward professional growth and development.
  • A values-driven approach aligned with the school’s ethos of Love, Respect, Hope, Courage, Kindness and Trust.
  • Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and child welfare responsibilities.

Why join Teaching Personnel:

  • Weekly pay through PAYE - no hidden agency fees.
  • A supportive consultant dedicated to your placements and career progression.
  • Access to ongoing professional development and online training.
  • Opportunities to secure long-term or permanent roles if desired.
  • A chance to regain control of your work-life balance.

Teaching in a primary setting offers the rewarding opportunity to support children across a range of subjects, nurture their personal and academic growth, and build strong, lasting relationships with pupils and families - while continuing to develop your own professional practice and impact.
