Are you a qualified teacher seeking an exciting new opportunity with a better work-life balance?
Joining Teaching Personnel can help you discover the ideal role you're looking for!
We expect a surge in demand for supply teachers after the schools reopen following the half-term break. Currently, we are recruiting supply teachers for both long and short-term positions.
Who qualifies as a supply teacher?
It is vital that you possess UK QTS and have experience across two Key Stages (EYFS and KS1 or KS1 and KS2). You must demonstrate excellent behavior management skills and have a flexible attitude.
Ideally, you should be available 2 – 5 days per week, have your own transport, and be willing to travel up to 30 minutes.
What does being a supply teacher entail?
While most assignments will be pre-booked, there might be occasions where you are called between 7 am and 9 am for same-day work. Although most schools provide daily plans, it's essential to have a range of resources suitable for all year groups on hand, just in case. Working across various schools, you will adhere to each school's policies, assess children's work, and provide comprehensive handover notes for the returning class teacher.
