About the Role:

Location – Cardiff

Pay - £151.70 per day

Start Date – September 2023

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Primary School Teacher to work in an excellent primary school based in the centre of Cardiff. The school are looking for an experienced and motivated teacher to work within KS2 on a full-time basis. The ideal teacher will have a good knowledge of the school’s curriculum and be able to plan and deliver lessons to fit with all abilities and needs of the class. The role is starting in September 2023, with the possibility of the succesful teacher being taken onto a permenant contract. 

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working in primary schools with knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Confident and enthusiastic when leading the class and keen to make a difference.
  • Ability to create positive relationships with the staff, children and parents in the school.
  • Excellent communication skills and good behaviour management.

About the school:

The school has close proximity to the inner city of Cardiff and celebrates its diverse nature and community. Many pupils in the school have English as an Additional Language (EAL) and the school’s mission is to deliver a fun learning environment for all pupils. The school is open for you to bring your own techniques to the role, and you will be joining a supportive team of teachers and teaching assistants.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS (child only) checks must be complete before the role will commence.
  • EWC registration – mandatory requirement in Wales.
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
