Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Cadishead
Start Date: January 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Cadishead that is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

✏️ Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, well-planned, and appropriately differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils
  • Track and assess pupils’ progress, offering clear and constructive feedback
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support continued improvements in teaching and learning
  • Participate in CPD opportunities and actively contribute to wider school life

Candidate Profile

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A confident, adaptable teaching approach with effective differentiation
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and current educational practice
  • Confident in using technology to enhance learning
  • Effective behaviour management and classroom leadership capabilities

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 4 or across Key Stage 2
    • ECTs with relevant placement experience are welcome to apply
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, inclusive education
