I am currently working closely with a specialist 4–19 years ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) school located in South Gloucestershire. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils experience success and progress—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Their primary model offers personalised learning that meets the unique needs of every child, supporting them to grow in self-confidence and reach their full potential.
The Role
I am a seeking a committed and creative SEN Teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated teaching using a primary model. You will work as part of a collaborative and skilled team to plan and deliver a bespoke curriculum for the students with autism.
You will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning tailored to pupils’ individual EHCPs
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that supports emotional regulation and learning
- Work closely with therapists, families, and support staff to ensure a joined-up approach
- Use a wide range of strategies and tools to support communication, sensory needs, and social interaction
- Foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning in every child
I am looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a strong understanding of autism and SEND practice
- Demonstrates patience, creativity, and a child-centred approach
- Embraces collaboration and values teamwork
- Is committed to professional development and reflective practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
