Part-Time Primary Teacher (Supply)

Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible supply teaching opportunities?

A welcoming primary school in Blandford Forum is seeking a part-time Primary Teacher (Supply) to support pupils from September 2025.

This role offers the chance to bring your teaching expertise to a supportive school environment, delivering high-quality education to primary-aged pupils and helping them achieve their potential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment

  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

  • Collaborating with staff to support individual pupil needs

  • Maintaining safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils

 

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential

  • Experience teaching in primary education

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Adaptable and able to work effectively in supply teaching roles

  • DBS registered on the Update Service or willing to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
