Part-Time KS1 Class Teacher – DT11 Area (3 Days/Week)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS – Paid to Scale (for planning/responsibilities)
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role in a warm and welcoming school community? We are a small, local primary school in the DT11 area seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join our team three days per week, starting in September 2025.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking someone who:
- Has previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- Has a strong understanding of phonics and a proven track record in delivering effective phonics teaching.
- Is passionate about supporting early reading development and can help drive improvements in our phonics programme.
- Is committed to high-quality teaching and learning and is eager to contribute to our close-knit school team.
In This Role, You Will:
- Teach a KS1 class for three days per week, including full responsibility for planning, assessment and delivery of the curriculum.
- Take a leading role in supporting and developing our phonics provision across the school.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils.
- Be paid to scale, including additional responsibilities and planning time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
