Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential?
 We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (General Support) to join our friendly school in Bishop Auckland.
About the role:
 As a General Support TA, you’ll work closely with class teachers to support the learning and wellbeing of all pupils. You’ll help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and provide one-to-one or small-group support where needed.
Key responsibilities:
- 
Support teaching and learning activities across the curriculum 
- 
Assist pupils in accessing lessons and developing independence 
- 
Help prepare resources and set up classroom activities 
- 
Promote positive behaviour and a safe, supportive learning environment 
- 
Work collaboratively with staff and contribute to school life 
We’re looking for someone who:
- 
Has experience working with children (school-based experience desirable) 
- 
Is patient, adaptable, and enjoys helping others learn 
- 
Has good communication and teamwork skills 
- 
Is committed to the values and ethos of our school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
