A school in the Liverpool is currently seeking an experienced Support Worker to join its exceptional Team. The school in question caters for young people of primary age 2-11 and their sister school looks after Key stage 3 &4. The school has classes and facilities to support children of various needs including ASC, PMLD and Non-Verbal Communicators. The ideal support worker will have experience in an SEN/care environment and would additionally have:

• Team Teach experience or willingness to train
• Moving and Handling

This support worker’s role would be to support the children in their development. Depending on the needs of the children /class you would support, this may be communication activities, play centred tasks or holistic therapies. Your role would be supported by a Teacher and one or more Teaching Assistants.

To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
