Are you a passionate KS1 or KS2 teacher who’s starting to feel the strain of full-time teaching? Maybe you’re looking to ease into retirement, take a step back to find a better work–life balance, or simply want to explore new schools and experiences without the extra workload that comes with a permanent post.

Why Choose Supply Teaching with Teaching Personnel?

When you join Teaching Personnel, you’ll benefit from:

  • Total Flexibility: Choose when and where you work — from one day a week to full weeks, or even long-term placements.
  • Variety and Experience: Gain exposure to different school settings, leadership styles, and teaching approaches across KS1 and KS2.
  • Reduced Workload: Enjoy the rewards of teaching without the endless paperwork, parents’ evenings, or after-school meetings.
  • Competitive Pay: Rates are based on experience and assignment type, with fair and transparent payment.
  • Dedicated Local Consultant: You’ll have your own consultant who knows the Yeovil area, listens to your preferences, and helps match you to the right schools.
  • Free Training Opportunities: Access our FREE safeguarding training and professional development resources to keep your skills sharp and your confidence high.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re keen to hear from teachers who are:

  • Qualified and confident in delivering lessons across KS1 and/or KS2
  • Enthusiastic about working with a variety of schools and year groups
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to new environments
  • Passionate about maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
  • Open to both short-term and long-term supply opportunities

To register, you’ll need:

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work documentation (passport and driving licence)
  • Proof of address and professional references
  • A commitment to safeguarding and upholding the values of the profession
