Qualified Primary Teacher

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Old Sarum to cover a mixed Year 1/2 class. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident practitioner who can demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour skills.

Days required:

• Monday, Friday, or either Tuesday/Thursday (flexibility available)
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Contract: Until Christmas 2025, with the view to extend into 2026

Role requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Recent teaching experience within KS1 (Year 1/2 desirable)
• Strong behaviour management and classroom control skills
• Ability to engage pupils with creative and effective teaching strategies
• Commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
