Primary School Tutors
Due to an increased demand from our Greater Portsmouth area schools, we need to expand our network of experienced Tutors. The roles available are to work with abled children, who need specific catching up in certain subjects, most commonly Maths or English.
A fully qualified Teacher, but you are isolating. Work from home now!
The roles are a combination of remote and face-to-face depending on the school’s requirements, so we can cater for isolating and non-isolating educators. All the roles available are on a part-time basis, however each session is likely to run from 45mins to 1hr. This means that whether you only have a few hours spare or are looking to block out large periods of the day, we have the role for you.

We hope to see applicants who hold a QTS, however will consider applicants whether they be experienced Teachers or NQT’s. We are looking for A.S.A.P starts, however will also consider individuals for roles after Easter half-term.
Ideal Candidate:
- Resilient & firm, but also empathetic & considerate
- An excellent and creative communicator.
- Proven ability to adapt lesson plans in-line with pupil reciprocity & lesson effectiveness.
- Have experience with 1:1 or small group work.
- Able to offer some time across 1hr slots to a school and its pupils from now or Easter.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
