The National Tutoring programme is aimed at helping pupils catch-up on lost learning during the national lockdown. However, the programme also aims to provide a longer-term contribution to closing the attainment gap.
The NTP subsidise 15-hour programmes (blocks) of tuition for school children. 75% of the programme costs are paid for with NTP funding with 25% covered by the school.
Tuition must be arranged in 15-hour blocks. Where possible, tuition is expected to be in small groups of up to three children.
Teaching Personnel have been awarded Tuition Partner status, we will provide qualified teachers and experienced tutors to deliver our programmes, along with a comprehensive set of services to help ensure success. Our tutors undertake comprehensive CPD accredited tutor training ‘the tutor toolkit’.
We are looking for the following Educators:
- Have experience of working in Primary Schools
- You must have acceptable/relevant qualifications
- Have experience of working with disadvantaged pupils
- Be able to show progression in children’s learning
To work as a tutor through the NTP you must be willing to complete FREE training through Teaching Personnel, such as:
- CPD accredited tutor training
- Training on our toolkit
- Level 3 Safeguarding training
- PREVENT training
- Induction with Teaching Personnel
