Job description

A three-entry primary, secondary and post-16 school are looking to appoint a Primary trained teacher able to start as soon as possible in preparation for the September term - Uxbridge (ÂŁ120 - 150 a day)

Hillingdon based special school seeking Primary teachers to lead small classes of up to 8 pupils on a full-time basis with permanent contract offers

Interviews and trial days to begin from Monday 3rd June 2019 and will consist of an observed 30 minute lesson and an informal interview

Newly Qualified teachers Fully Qualified Teachers and Early Years Teachers must have relevant teaching qualifications with experience leading primary classes.

About the role

A special needs school for pupils aged 5 - 19 are looking to recruit engaging primary trained teachers open to learning and teaching an amazing group of pupils.

Pupils within the school have been statemented with autism, learning difficulties and associated challenging behaviours and learn with individual learning programmes. These programmes are based on the national curriculum but according to their learning needs.

This teaching position is to start immediately on a full-time basis and will require commitment and creativity due to the pupils learning needs. Successful teachers will work across a three-entry primary department teaching pupil's maths, English, Science and independence skills.

Experience teaching or planning for pupils with autism, learning difficulties or challenging behaviour, is ideal but not necessary as behaviour policies are implemented across the school and training will be provided.

Location

The school is accessible by local buses U1,U2, U3, U4, U5 and the following stations:

Uxbridge Station (Metropolitan Line), West Drayton Station (GWR) and West Ruislip (Central Line)

Requirements

Experience planning lessons and teaching pupils with special needs (EHCP) or primary school teaching experience

UK recognised teaching qualifications such as PGCE, QTS, NQT qualifications

Availability required on full-time basis Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:30pm

Teachers will be required to use a range of visual or sensory resources to support pupil needs and must be open to learning about how to differentiate lessons
