Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for a role as a KS2 (Year 5) maternity cover teacher? Do you want to work in a fun, supportive environment as part of a professional, committed team?

About the school;
This is a 3-form entry Primary school in Southend-on-sea who are currently looking for Year 5 maternity cover teacher to join their team starting in September.  The class has 27 children, 1 class LSA and 1 1:1 LSA.

‘’They are a happy community of pupils, parents and staff, working together to provide a curriculum that extends and enriches each child's experience and appreciation of the world’’. – (Ofsted 2018) The Headteacher wants all children to achieve and become contributing, empowered and fulfilled members of society. The school is a ''GOOD''(Ofsted June 2018) school.

The Year 5 maternity cover teacher must:
- Have full UK QTS
- Be experienced teaching in KS2
- Have a good understanding of the UK KS2 primary curriculum
- Have creativity, organisation skills, and a positive work ethic
- Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
